If you’re reading the headline and aren’t convinced, I get it. Maybe you’re hesitant to work with a virtual coach because you’re not convinced it’s the same as in-person. But when you’re ready to push your potential, virtual coaching isn’t a compromise—it’s an advantage.
I’ve coached hundreds of athletes, so I asked a few to help me bust the biggest myths holding people back from taking that next step. Here’s some real talk so you can get into real results.
Myth #1
It’s not the same without in-person corrections.
You’re right—it’s not the same. It’s different. And for many, it’s better!
What matters isn’t physical proximity—it’s precision. Are you coachable? Open to feedback? That’s how we’ll climb this mountain. Virtual posing coaching builds body awareness. And that’s what helps you win.
Here’s how online coaching actually works. We cover everything from reviewing education modules and executing posing training to recording your practice or meeting via video. We have options! And we use structure, positive energy, and repetition to get better every week.
Myth #2
It won’t feel personal or connected.
You don’t need to share a space to share momentum. Coaching is about energy— and yes, that certainly translates over video.
You need someone who gets you. And when it clicks, it doesn’t matter where in the world they are.

What Clients Are Saying
“Tam met me where I was and gave me exactly what I needed to level up. Even virtually, I felt like she knew my strengths and weak spots better than I did.”
“I felt completely connected and supported throughout. Tam’s energy comes through, and her follow-ups kept me on track.”
Myth #3
Virtual only works if you’ve already competed a lot.
Smash that thought! Virtual coaching meets you where you’re at. Whether you’re brand new or prepping for a pro debut, we can adapt.
Myth #4
It’s too complicated or won’t fit my schedule.
This one’s easy. Virtual coaching is built for efficiency. Clients take their appointments from vacation spots, hotel gyms, and even backstage. Got a phone? Good lighting? Let’s go!
And don’t overthink the setup. I’ve seen white bedsheets for backdrops and guest appearances from cats. No matter what, we get it done.
Myth #5
You can only get good coaching if they’re local.
This belief holds too many athletes back. Maybe your local coach doesn’t have the knowledge, doesn’t specialize in your division, or isn’t the right fit. With virtual, you can work with the best, not just the closest.
Still wondering if it’s right for you? Ask yourself:
• Do I want expert eyes without wasting hours commuting?
• Am I ready for consistent, personalized feedback?
• Is there someone in my area who can give me what I need—honesty, accountability, expertise, and relevancy?
You don’t have to wait for an opportunity. You create it. And the right support will get you there, faster.
